We collect the following personal data only when you voluntarily submit the contact form:

  • Project description (free text)

We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. A session cookie is used solely to remember your cookie consent preference.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

Your data is processed exclusively to respond to your project enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract / pre-contractual measures).

4. Data Processors

Contact form submissions are processed by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which acts as a data processor under a processing agreement. Messages are forwarded to our email inbox and not stored permanently by Web3Forms.

5. Retention

We retain enquiry emails in accordance with German commercial record-keeping obligations (generally 6 years under § 257 HGB). Data no longer needed for business purposes is deleted promptly.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") (Art. 17)

This website contains a link to LinkedIn (linkedin.com/company/engineeringdesignservices). LinkedIn operates its own privacy policy independent of EDS. We have no control over LinkedIn's data practices.

8. Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard web server logs (IP address, browser, access time) as part of their service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be indicated by a revised "last updated" date above.
